Indigenous Trust के तत्वावधान में रामगढ़ जिला के चेटर गाँव में दिशुम गुरुजी की जयंती श्रद्धा एवं सम्मान के साथ मनाई गई
रामगढ़ जिला अंतर्गत चट्टर गाँव में Indigenous Trust के तत्वावधान में झारखंड आंदोलन के प्रणेता, दिशुम गुरुजी (बाबा दिशोम गुरु शिबू सोरेन) की जयंती श्रद्धा, सम्मान एवं आदिवासी परंपराओं के साथ मनाई गई।
कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत दिशुम गुरुजी के चित्र पर फूल-मालाएं अर्पित कर, पुष्प गुच्छ चढ़ाकर तथा पारंपरिक आदिवासी रीति-रिवाजों के साथ की गई। इस अवसर पर उपस्थित लोगों ने गुरुजी के आदर्शों, संघर्षों और विचारधारा पर चलने का संकल्प लिया।
इस कार्यक्रम में अतिथि के रूप में दिशुम गुरुजी की भतीजी एवं जिला पार्षद सुश्री रेखा सोरेन विशेष रूप से उपस्थित रहीं। उन्होंने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि दिशुम गुरुजी ने जीवन भर आदिवासी समाज के अधिकार, जल-जंगल-जमीन की रक्षा और सामाजिक न्याय के लिए संघर्ष किया। उनका जीवन आज भी हम सभी को एकजुट होकर समाज के लिए काम करने की प्रेरणा देता है।
जयंती के अवसर पर चट्टर गाँव में सामाजिक सरोकार को ध्यान में रखते हुए कंबल वितरण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया, जिसमें बुजुर्गों, महिलाओं एवं जरूरतमंद लोगों के बीच कंबलों का वितरण किया गया। यह सेवा कार्य गुरुजी के जनकल्याणकारी विचारों को आगे बढ़ाने का प्रतीक है।
कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता Indigenous Trust के अध्यक्ष श्री रामचंद्र मुंडा ने की। उन्होंने अपने अध्यक्षीय संबोधन में कहा कि दिशुम गुरुजी केवल एक नेता नहीं, बल्कि आदिवासी अस्मिता के प्रतीक थे। उनके संघर्षों के कारण ही आदिवासी समाज को नई पहचान और दिशा मिली।
Indigenous Trust के सचिव ने अपने वक्तव्य में कहा कि दिशुम गुरुजी झारखंड आंदोलन के अग्रदूत रहे। उनके त्याग, संघर्ष और नेतृत्व के परिणामस्वरूप ही अलग झारखंड राज्य का सपना साकार हुआ। उनका जीवन आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए प्रेरणास्रोत है।
कार्यक्रम में ग्रामीणजन, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता, महिला समूह एवं Indigenous Trust के सदस्य बड़ी संख्या में उपस्थित रहे। सभी ने गुरुजी के विचारों को जन-जन तक पहुँचाने और आदिवासी समाज के अधिकारों की रक्षा के लिए निरंतर संघर्ष करने का संकल्प लिया।
In Chetar village under Ramgarh district, the birth anniversary of Dishum Guruji (Baba Dishom Guru Shibu Soren)
the pioneer of the Jharkhand movement—was observed with deep devotion, respect, and in accordance with traditional tribal customs, under the banner of Indigenous Trust.
The program commenced with the offering of floral garlands and bouquets to the portrait of Dishum Guruji, followed by traditional tribal rituals. On this occasion, the participants collectively pledged to follow the ideals, struggles, and ideology of Guruji in their lives.
Ms. Rekha Soren, niece of Dishum Guruji and District Council Member, was present as the chief guest. In her address, she stated that Dishum Guruji devoted his entire life to fighting for the rights of the tribal community, the protection of water, forests, and land, and the cause of social justice. She emphasized that his life continues to inspire society to unite and work collectively for social welfare.
On the occasion of the birth anniversary, keeping social responsibility in mind, a blanket distribution program was organized in Chetar village. Blankets were distributed among elderly persons, women, and the needy. This service initiative symbolizes the continuation of Guruji’s welfare-oriented vision.
The program was presided over by Mr. Ramchandra Munda, President of Indigenous Trust. In his presidential address, he stated that Dishum Guruji was not merely a leader but a symbol of tribal identity. Due to his relentless struggles, the tribal community gained a new identity and direction.
The Secretary of Indigenous Trust, in his address, remarked that Dishum Guruji was the forerunner of the Jharkhand movement. It was due to his sacrifice, struggle, and leadership that the dream of a separate Jharkhand state became a reality. His life remains a source of inspiration for future generations.
A large number of villagers, social workers, women’s groups, and members of Indigenous Trust participated in the program. All present resolved to disseminate the ideals of Dishum Guruji among the masses and to continue the struggle for the protection of tribal rights.
